Knute Berger is a Seattle-based author, journalist, and commentator with a longstanding interest in Expos. He is the award-winning "Mossback" columnist for the Cascade Public Media news site Crosscut.com, Writer-in-Residence at the Space Needle, where he serves as consulting historian, and Editor-at-Large for Seattle magazine. He has written several publications including “Space Needle, Spirit of Seattle”, and is a regular commentator on public radio.

John McGregor worked at Expo 1988 Brisbane, Expo 1992 Seville, and Expo 1993 Daejeon. Following a meeting of Expo cities and regions in Seville in 2002, he launched a commemorative website for Expo 1988 Brisbane in 2004, which he now runs and maintains at celebrate88.com. He currently resides in the Gold Coast, Queensland.

Hadassah St. Hubert is currently a Ph.D. candidate in History and McKnight Doctoral fellow at the University of Miami. Her dissertation focuses on Haiti's participation in World’s Fairs and Expositions in the twentieth century. She serves as the Assistant Editor for Haiti: An Island Luminous, a digital humanities website site created by Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC) dedicated entirely to Haitian history and Haitian studies.
