New Member States of the BIE

Two countries have joined the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), bringing the total number of Member States of the Organisation to 181.

In accordance with Article 35 of the 1928 Paris Convention relating to International Exhibitions, the Governments of the two countries submitted the instruments for accession to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. France, as the depository for the Convention notified the Secretariat of the BIE that the following countries have adhered to the Convention:

North Macedonia – date of accession 26 May 2023

Trinidad and Tobago – date of accession 26 May 2023.
