Foresight for Tomorrow

Expo 2030 Riyadh is guided by the theme "Foresight for Tomorrow" - a call to harness innovation, sustainability, and collective action to shape a more prosperous, inclusive, and resilient future for all.

At the heart of this vision are five interconnected sub-themes: Technology, Planet, Humanity, Culture, and Collaboration. Together, they reflect the defining forces shaping the future of societies, economies, and human progress. Carefully selected to address both the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly interconnected world, these sub-themes will provide a framework for dialogue, innovation, and partnership, inspiring solutions that can drive meaningful and lasting impact across generations.

Centered around the prominent Wadi Al Sulai, the Expo 2030 Riyadh Masterplan draws inspiration from the historic settlements that flourished along its natural waterways, while celebrating the rich traditions of Saudi culture, craftsmanship, and architecture that have evolved over centuries.

Spanning approximately 6 million square metres, the Expo site will include around 2 million square metres of gated exhibition and event space, creating a world-class destination designed to welcome millions of visitors from around the globe. The Masterplan seamlessly blends heritage with innovation, creating an environment that is distinctly Saudi in character yet global in outlook.

Designed with a long-term legacy at its core, the site will extend its impact far beyond the six-month event. Following Expo 2030 Riyadh, it will transform into a vibrant Global Village - a dynamic hub for tourism, business, innovation, and cultural exchange - preserving the spirit of the World Expo as a lasting platform for international connection, collaboration, and shared prosperity.
