Inside Expo – cultural development, old and new

The shared human interest for other cultures and for past cultures is at the heart of the latest two episodes of Expo 2020 Dubai’s Inside Expo podcast.

‘Creating a Cultural Renaissance’ looks at the phenomenon of cultural fusion and the role that Expo 2020 Dubai plays in fostering organic connections among international participants. The seemingly endless potential for cultural crossovers is expressed in a number of ways at the Expo, from encounters between neighbouring pavilions to the Jalsat Nights jamming sessions involving musicians from around the world.

‘Travelling Back to Our Prehistoric Origins’, focuses on the collective fascination for learning about prehistoric humans, which can be discovered at Expo 2020 Dubai through the story of ‘Lucy’ in Ethiopia’s pavilion, or the virtual reality recreation of the Neolithic Vinča culture in Serbia’s pavilion.

Inside Expo is a podcast series by Expo 2020 Dubai and produced by Kerning Cultures Network.
