The public areas which a participant may dedicate to commercial activities, including the aggregate area of shops and restaurants, may not exceed 20% of the area constructed by the Participant for the purposes of exhibition and attention to the public; in no case may it exceed 600m².
The constructed area does not include car parks, machine rooms, storerooms or other services of the Pavilion. If the Participant mounts part of the installations on the garden area or terrace the area occupied shall be included in the 20%.
Kitchen offices, storage, areas, refrigeration areas, rest rooms, etc. are not considered to be areas of commercial or restaurant activities or of public use. Likewise, staff restaurants shall not be considered as public restaurant areas.
