The last International Triennale di Milano took place in 1996. 2016 will be its rebirth. Claudio de Albertis, President of the Triennale di Milano answers our questions on this new edition.

In a few words :

After a pause of 20 years, the Triennale di Milano will resume its international exhibitions in 2016. As part of the DNA of the Triennale, it was only a matter of time before they started again. 2016 will offer a new and improved version of the Triennale as the exhibition will no longer be limited to the Palazzo dell'Arte but will be spread all over the city engaging with more visitors and more participants. As the first edition of this century, the 2016 event will be held under the theme "21st century, design after design". With this theme, the Triennale hopes to present the new trends in design today, and how they are intrinsically linked to the evolution of the world. The organizers of the exhibition are currently working on the recognition process and developing a strong cooperation with Expo Milano 2015.
