10/01/2010 – On 30 December 2010, the Organizing Committee for Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea unveiled the official posters of the Expo created based on ideas collected from a nationwide poster competition.
Two types of official posters have been published: the first entitled "The First Step Toward the Era of the Ocean" and the second "The Global Festival prepared by Korea". 2000 copies of each type have been printed.
The posters will be seen at major public venues and in easily accessible places, such as airports, metro stations and ferry terminals. They will also be displayed in local banks.
The organisers will continue the poster production project, which started with the creation of 2 posters this year, by producing 4 posters in 2011 and 4 in 2012. Altogether a total of 10 posters will be created for the Expo.
