07/01/2011 – In an effort to contribute to the successful organisation of Expo 2012 Yeosu, young Koreans have undertaken voluntary promotional activities of the Expo abroad.
The Organizing Committee for Expo 2012 Yeosu said that the members of the Association "Dream Expo Supporters", an online voluntary promotional group of the Expo, are now travelling to the United States, Europe and China.
Highly motivated, the members of the "Dream Expo Supporters" have developed a model of international promotional campaign based on volunteering. They cover the expenses for their trips through part-time jobs and other resources.

Four students are currently on an overseas promotional tour in universities of major US cities, three others are travelling across Europe passing through the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany.

During their visits, the young volunteers collect messages of success for the Expo that they later transmit to the Organizing Committee.

Around 600 middle school students will visit Shanghai in January 2011 to promote the Yeosu Expo to the residents and tourists of the Chinese city as "the next chapter after Expo Shanghai".
